Baseado no top 40 mundial e no que tem sido lançado recentemente com grande sucesso, iniciei a pesquisa de faixas para essa coletânea, sem a pretensão de seguir adiante. Gostei do resultado final e acho interessante compartilhar com vocês essa seleção, pois realmente são músicas que vocês certamente ouvirão ao decorrer do próximo ano. Das 16 faixas, 12 são novíssimas e algumas delas já ganharam as rádios aqui no Brasil. Mas sabemos que nosso "delay" ainda é grande, então apresento essa coletânea para você se preparar para o que vem por aí no primeiro semestre do próximo ano! rs

Renascer, vol.2 - 2012 Remaster [by Heyner]

Já havia considerado na ocasião em que remasterizei o volume 1 dessa trilha sonora, remasterizar o seu também ótimo volume 2. Ontem, por pedido de Thiago Henrick, decidi prontamente remasterizar também o volume 2 da linda trilha sonora de Renascer (1993). Espero que curtam o resultado de mais uma "casa limpa", rs

Rock in Rio II - Internacional 2012 Remaster [by Heyner]

Resolvi encarar a dificílima missão de remasterizar essa coletânea (lançada em CD, LP e K7 pela Som Livre no comecinho de 1991...) a partir do CD original, lançado na época citada.
Os problemas na masterização original dessa coletânea - realizada por Sergio Rocha - são vários: desde o volume BAIXÍSSIMO (a ponto de você ter de colocar seu aparelho quase no volume máximo para sentir de verdade as músicas) até os problemas nos master tapes enviados à gravadora, mais notáveis na faixa 2 (onde escutamos além do inconveniente "assovio" da master tape: também há pequenas falhas de ausência de ruído no miolo da faixa). Na faixa 4 os ruídos presentes na master tape denunciam que ela estava gasta e se tornam quase insuportáveis. Tentei suavizar esse ruído durante o processo de limpeza do som, porém não fiquei satisfeito com o resultado. De qualquer forma, foi uma remasterização que me exigiu muito trabalho (foram mais de 4 dias trabalhando em cima dela) e fiquei relativamente satisfeito com o resultado final. Let the sun shine in

Depois de uma noite rapidamente dormida (porém revigorante), deparo-me com insights/epifanias/conclusões sobre a vida. Resolvi expor, pois assim sinto como se estivesse, mesmo que de forma indireta, ajudando de alguma forma.
Hoje percebi, definitivamente, como sou pequeno diante de tudo. Somos pequenos, muito pequenos. Todos nós, sem exceção que possa escapar desse fato.
Nesse iminente amanhecer que se anuncia nos horizontes do sul, percebo o quanto complico tantas e tantas vezes, por tão pouco! Quantas vezes deixei de aproveitar o momento em sua plenitude, apenas porque alguma coisa não saiu como planejei? Quantas vezes apartei-me de pessoas por motivos frívolos, que jamais poderiam justificar minha intransigência em decisões que foram firmes, sem precisar ser?
Quantas oportunidades lindas eu terminei por jogar fora por pensar demais em consequências vagas e sofrer por antecipação, sem sequer arriscar uma nova experiência?
Quanto tempo eu perdi,meu Deus, cobrando demais de mim mesmo e me fechando num ostracismo que julguei necessário, mas que só serviu para que as pessoas me entendessem menos ainda? Quero poder me livrar de toda essa excessiva e desnecessária auto-cobrança. Quero poder me livrar dessa minha teimosia e intransigência. Quero saber que posso olhar de peito aberto para as lindas e únicas oportunidades que a vida constantemente me dá, afinal a felicidade faz parte SIM de nossas escolhas. Quero perder meus preconceitos bestas e desnecessários com certos signos do zodíaco, olhar para cada ser humano como uma peça complexa, rica e única em sua essência e - por que não? - parte da centelha divina.Mas quero, acima de tudo, continuar nessa constante busca por mim mesmo, da realização que posso alcançar através de mim e do pleno conhecimento de minhas próprias capacidades. Sei que sou pequeno, já falei isso. Somos todos, também já falei... Mas é justamente pelo fato de termos todos EXATAMENTE A MESMA PROPORÇÃO diante do Universo, que devemos entender o quanto a vida é algo fantástico e simplesmente inexplicável, pois cada um(a) a vive da forma que pode/deve/consegue/deseja. Também quero ter a oportunidade de esquecer-me completamente do orgulho, abandonar o ego num lugar bem distante, viver na prática a vida simples que sempre quis, busquei e continuo a buscar, incansavelmente. E, quem sabe, ao final de tudo isso, encontrar um grande amor - ou pelo menos algo próximo disso - para não mais trilhar meu caminho sozinho.

A Próxima Vítima - Internacional: Comentando a Trilha #1

Bem, pessoal: estou apresentando hoje, 21/06/2012, uma nova "seção" de meu blog: a "Comentando a Trilha", onde seleciono trilhas sonoras para comentar. Deixo claro que expresso minha opinião sobre elas, portanto não são verdades absolutas. A trilha sonora de hoje é A Próxima Vítima - Internacional.
Já vou deixando claro: não disponibilizarei para download as trilhas nessa seção. Talvez algumas terminem por ir para download futuramente, mas de forma avulsa em outros posts. Sem mais delongas, vamos aos comentários:

Lançada em julho de 1995, A Próxima Vítima/ Internacional, além de ser na minha opinião uma trilha sonora muito boa e bem selecionada, é um resumo bem competente da febre eurodance dos anos 90, que ainda tinha força em 1995. Só perderia força a partir da segunda metade de 1996, até morrer por completo - e prematuramente - em 1998, quando foi "substituída" pelo estilo house.
Logo na faixa 1, já temos Inner Circle, banda de reggae que na época já contabilizava mais de 20 anos de estrada, mas que vinha fazendo sucesso apenas desde 1993 em terras brasileiras. Black Roses é uma balada interessante, não tem nada de típico no reggae e por ser incomum, caiu bem na abertura da trilha;
A faixa seguinte foi talvez o sucesso mais notável da banda Firehouse no Brasil, sendo a única faixa eternizada de fato por aqui. I Live my Life For You (erroneamente grafada como I Live my Life For Love, malditos estagiários...) é de fato uma bela balada, com um potencial enorme, porém tem algo de "farofeira" em si;
Na terceira faixa, La Bouche nos brinda com sua então recentíssima Be my Lover. Não tem como não remeter diretamente às delícias da eurodance noventista. Essa faixa é puro eurodance de qualidade. Quem viveu essa época como eu sabe o quanto marcou;
Jim Croce faleceu em 1973, dias antes do lançamento de I Got a Name e seu álbum homônimo, aos 30 anos, num desastre aéreo. Devido a isso, I Got a Name tornou-se seu maior sucesso, seguido de I'll Have to Say I Love You in a Song, presente em "Cara & Coroa". Mas como se explica essa inclusão das duas faixas em trilhas sonoras de 1995? É simples: a pequena e iniciante gravadora Paradise comprou os direitos de Jim e relançou seu álbum de maior sucesso em 1995. Inclusive foi uma gravadora de vida curta, tendo seu fechamento no ano seguinte. De qualquer forma, I Got a Name é uma belíssima faixa que vale a pena ser conferida (e esteve inclusive no comercial do disco da novela);
Flava to da Bone era e permaneceu como banda desconhecida aqui no Brasil. Entretanto, a regravação de More Than a Woman, original dos Bee Gees é absolutamente deliciosa e tocou bastante na novela, embora não me lembre de a ter ouvido muito nas rádios. Recomendo fortemente;
Já na faixa 6 temos uma regravação muito fofinha e curta de Bizarre Love Triangle (original da banda New Order), pelo grupo Frente! (com exclamação no nome, mas na trilha não consta);
Annie Lennox nos brinda com a lindíssima No More "I Love Yous" na faixa 7, emplacando competentemente seu segundo álbum solo após sua saída temporária dos Eurythmics;
Já na faixa 8 temos uma interessante regravação de Let's Stay Together por Bobby Ross Avila, artista de uma pequena gravadora (Kaskata's). A faixa original, vale esclarecer, é de AL GREEN, não da Tina Turner, como algumas pessoas metidas a conhecedoras andaram espalhando de forma superficial em vídeos pelo Youtube afora...
Na faixa 9 vem um Terence Trent D'Arby (que hoje mudou de nome para Sananda Maitreya) inspiradíssimo numa faixa que considero a mais impactante do disco. Impossível não vibrar com Holding on to You. Inspiração pura;
East 17 era até então desconhecido no Brasil e, pelo que li por aí (mais precisamente num post do Johan Van Händel no orkut, tempos atrás), rivalizava na Inglaterra com Take That. Não importa realmente se havia ou não tal rivalidade, importa é que Around The World é uma faixa bobinha, porém gostosa de se ouvir;
A regravação de Double You para That's The Way (original de KC & The Sunshine Band) foi o primeiro single de seu álbum que seria lançado apenas no ano seguinte, Forever. E foi um estrondoso sucesso nas rádios, principalmente na Jovem Pan. Gosto muito dessa faixa, particularmente;
O duo Scarlet teve vida curta e dois álbuns lançados, um em 1992 e o último em 1995, de onde saiu a lindíssima Independent Love Song que está presente na trilha. Li também no mesmo post do Johan citado acima que saiu nos jornais da época ainda no começo da novela, que a Warner anunciava a inclusão de Independent Love Song na trilha sonora da novela, já que a faixa vinha de um estrondoso sucesso no exterior. Sucesso merecido, diga-se de passagem: a faixa é realmente linda, minha preferida de toda a trilha sonora;
Já a faixa 13 também foi outra que tocou massivamente nas rádios, já "profetizando" que o eurodance abriria passagem para o house anos mais tarde: Tough Girl, de Martine, embora tenha a sua estrutura pautada em eurodance, tem uma boa pegada house. Muito boa, por sinal;
Para fechar com chave de ouro a trilha sonora, temos Alexis San Nicolas com a interessantíssima Fotonovela que, poucos sabem, mas se trata de uma regravação de uma faixa do final dos anos 80, cuja original guarda inúmeras semelhanças com a presente na trilha sonora, porém não tocou aqui no Brasil e foi erroneamente creditada em sua composição ao artista intérprete, o que não é verdade. Problemas legais a parte, é uma boa faixa.

E por enquanto é só, pessoal.

Quatro Por Quatro - Internacional 2012 remaster

Em outubro desse ano, a novela de Carlos Lombardi completa 18 anos de sua estreia.
Como forma de homenagear, resolvi remasterizar a trilha sonora internacional, utilizando como matriz meu CD original, lançado a fevereiro de 1995.
A masterização original continha uma série de falhas, como o volume discrepante no lado esquerdo da maioria das faixas, isso sem falar no desnivelamento de volume no final de "Take a Toke".
Mas felizmente, consegui corrigir todos esses erros ao remasterizar. Mais uma "casa limpa", para vocês baixarem à vontade.
